The Aspie Dilemma. Another mean, mean column from 101 Reasons To Stop Writing, which includes this suggestion: "Kids, it's time to not only to use Occam's Razor as a diagnostic tool, but to wave it over our heads, howling "Blood and souls for my lord Arioch!" at the tops of our lungs."

Thanks for the link to the Life on Mars article. Gene Hunt is one of those funhouse mirror characters that reflects what the viewers bring with them, and it's nice to see a well-reasoned explanation as to why so many women find him attractive.

Hang on, didn't you write a whole novel of Doctor/Karl? These people are insatiable!

Well, I dunno if I'm insatiable. But I'd love it if there were, say, ten or twenty whole novels of Doctor/Karl. *grins*

I'm thinking I may have to write my own Doctor/Karl--I'm quite tempted by the Tardis Big Bang challenge, even though the name makes me giggle.

I'm a bit unnerved at the prospect of writing fic in a fandom where the author is around. But as you don't seem to mind the idea . . .
