War Stories

Jon and I are both writing novellas for War Stories, a Bernice Summerfield book from Big Finish which will be published next year. The third story in this collection of three linked novellas is by Philip Purser-Hallard. Mine's called All Mimsy Were the Borogroves, I'm 7,000 words deep into the 25,000 words total, and I'm having a ball. :-)

Sounds like a ball! I recently turned in my first Who story, a short for Steven Savile's "Destination: Prague" antho, and it was an absolute hoot.

Congrats and all, but rats....I've been trying to write a story by that exact title for the past year or so.

Sigh. Back to the autobiographical piece I'm thinking about, involving the exploits of my kitty cat, which I shall call "The Taming of the Fuu". :)

Love your title. Is it a favourite poem of yours too?

Oh yes. Have you seen the LOTE versions - German, French, Latin, etc?

I would love to read the Big Finish books if they just weren't so (a) hard to find except online, and (b) prohibitively expensive.
