Btw, I don't know your endocrinologist, but from what you've said I'd consider getting a second opinion about the drug you just stopped taking possibly causing your blood sugar spike. Sometimes certain doctors or clinics have business connections with certain drug manufacturers, and are reluctant to even speculate on stuff like that which could cast the medication in a remotely harmful light.
