Progress towards decriminalising abortion continues at a snail's pace, while the young Queensland couple facing seven years' jail for using RU-486 had their house firebombed. I think I'll go back to not reading the paper for a bit.

Yeah, reading ontd_political's coverage of the shenanigans in American politics has not been conducive to a serene frame of mind either. But some of those items from the Australian side of things sound particularly horrible.
