A list of SF cliches includes "Psychedelic drugs give somebody magical power over space, time and reality," but off the top of my head I can only think of a couple of examples (The Stars My Destination and arguably Vurt). Anybody got any others?

obvious drug references, science fiction

Your question turned up in my flist at the same time as this, which seems vaguely relevant.

Just read an issue of Hellblazer wherein John snorts the bones of St Nicholas, which is less so.

I'm sure there are a couple of things which fit the criteria, but are just floating out of reach.

(Quick, reach for the psychedelics.)
