in a desperate attempt to make our dear daughter sleep last night, we tried the "drive around the block" method. I knew she wasn't hungry, but rather cranky because she was super tired. When they're *really* asleep, I find that you can move them around without any problems...

I don't know how you have the time to take care of a baby AND a dog though.

bring her in the car seat and let her sleep like that.. but the driving around the block thing, that might start a bad habit.. my hubby's cousin used to be like that, his parents has to drive him around every night so he could fall asleep!
