The joys of breastfeeding

Just when I thought I was getting a hang of breastfeeding she decides its easier just to suck on a bottle. I think they call it "nipple confusion". So now it takes me like 10 minutes just to get her latched on. I was wondering why there's so much literature out there about breastfeeding. For anyone who has never breastfed a baby before, it's

i stopped nursing kaylee just before she turned 1. sometimes i miss it. i know, i'm crazy.. but it's a special bonding time btw just her and i.. u know?

i still have that brown line on my tummy although it's fading away. did you gain alot when you were pregnant?

wow. ok after i read that i became totally inspired to keep at this breastfeeding business. so it can be done huh? 1 year...hm. so are they at your boob longer each time she feeds because she required more milk? right now i'm feeding her for about 20-40 minutes each time. i can only imagine how much a 1 year old would need. omg, i would die if she needed to be latched on for like an hour and a half!!

she'll start eating rice cereal around 4-6months, then on to solid foods so you don't have to be nursing her every 2 hrs like she does now.. kaylee would always fall asleep sucking, i guess that's why she was always hungry
