Week 1 is over!  Well, there's tomorrow (sunday) where the owner is throwing us a bbq and i'll basically be prepping for that and doing homework all day, but other than that it's a done week.  We had placement tests!  I was placed!  I'm in a class with people whose speaking abilities roughly match mine, though my reading abilities are a little

that sculpture is totally amazing. and i am so jealous and weirdly homesick (japansick?) for our previous odd little neighborhood right now. wish i were with you. ;)

japansick is totally a word. and i miss you too darling - you pretty much ruined japan for me, you know that? it hasn't ever been the same without you .... wish you could come out too. you'd like the little place, and you could groan with me at all the fucking uphill walking.
