That conference sounds awesome! Congrats on all the feedback and everything, that's amazing.

I totally get the lack of motivation. You'll find it again - you're too awesome not to.

Thanks lady, for the congrats and the encouragement. I just reread my post and to me I sound like a deranged gerbil, but I know it will pass at some point. Hopefully housemate issues are going away soon and then I'll actually feel as if that's more stable so I can breathe.

Also it sounds like you have done Lots and Need To Recharge. Your body's way of telling you to do this is "MUST HIBERNATE IN READING FIC". That is my professional opinion.

Citation! So good the first time, right? (There's a very, very distant professional acquaintance of mine who I will love forever for introducing himself by saying he'd quoted one of my papers in his thesis. It was a crappy paper, on my MA, but I don't care, it was cited).

Conferences just are exhausting, and presenting is more so. I don't blame you for skipping out. Hope things calm down and get more work-conducive at home though.

Oh my god yes!! I was like, "really???? are you sure it was mine? really?" And yeah, the guy didn't actually use anything I'd written in his paper, but whatever, it was cited.

And I think things are (hopefully) getting better by the minute. Thanks for the good wishes lady! &hearts

I'm sorry about Asha, she sounds like a real piece of work. You and male housemate sound well shot of her.
