I made it alive!! Got into Hartford last night at 11 pm and had to drive from there to New Haven because I bolluxed up my plane ticket (i knew i'd screwed it up, and that's what rental cars are for). I once had that "free upgrade! SUV!" thing and I wished I'd thought to say "I'm not licensed to drive a tank!" instead of "um... um... really you don't have ANYTHING smaller?"
