Damn you, Morgan Freeman, and your soothingly melodic narrator's voice!!

So I'm sitting here crying with snot coming out of my nose and looking all sorts of ugly, I'm sure. I just finished watching The Bucket List. I made a video to John Mayer's 'Say' yesterday and the song is the official song for the movie. So after seeing the official video I decided to watch the film. Ugh! Sooooooo good. I can't even tell you. I ( Read more... )

Ha. I was just on my way over to your LJ to listen to and watch the "Say" vid again. Which I will do and then I'll log off and make my list and comment with my choices. You've picked many that I love dearly, including:

Sixth Sense
My Life as a House
Fried Green Tomatoes
Forrest Gump
My Girl

Awesome movies.

Off hand, I love the friendship between exes Gabriel Byrne and Laura Linney in "P.S." Great movie.

The relationship between Holly Hunter and RD JR.'s character in "Home for the Holidays..."

I loved the relationship between Julia Roberts and Mel Gibson in "Conspiracy Theory"

And the relationship between Jodie Foster and Scott Glenn in "Silence of the Lambs"

And there's this great, great little indie movie called "Spring Forward" with Ned Beatty and Liev Schreiber that you have to see ...

I'm going to go make some dinner and make my list.

Hmm, laura linney and gabriel byrne weren't in PS I Love You. Maybe you mean something else?

I hated conspiracy theory! Such a waste of 2 perfectly great actors.

Jodie Foster is God in just about anything she's in. Silence was great. And I love Scott Glenn. Way underused actor, IMO. Have you seen the Brave One? Decent movie with one of the most tragically beautiful scenes ever.

I LOVED spring forward. It was so nice to watch a positive movie for once. I liked the relationship between them, despite the fact that I normally have no love for ned beatty.

Remember I told you about the movie, "P.S."? Not P.S. I Love You, but just P.S. It's an indie film with Laura Linney, Gabriel Byrne, and Topher Grace. I really liked it.

Humph. I enjoyed Conspiracy Theory. It wasn't a good movie, but I really found it entertaining. I thought JR and MG had better chemistry than most of JR pairings.

Jodie is fantastic. Scott Glenn is terrific. Again, I love the chemistry between them in SotL.

Sliding doros is one of my fav movies. I didn't cry at the end, simply because there's such a good ending. It was wonderfully filmed.

I never saw the end of constant gardener but i loved rachael weisz all the way through what i did see. i loved how the audience kept being led to think, one way or another, that she was cheating on her husband. time and again we'd find she wasn't. i knew it was going to end badly, but i liked the relationship between her and ralph. i love the idea of a man going to the ends of the earth to find out what happened to his wife.

stand by me-- oldie but goodie. i used to have this huuuuuge crush on wil wheaton. oy! but, yeah, that was a good one.

i'm exactly the opposite with war movies... i'm usually bored with them. it's like watching football or something.... *yawn*.

I love every one of the movies you've mentioned, and I saw that you hadn't watched PS I love you yet...go watch it. It doesn't make you bawl like a few of the other movies do (LIfe as a House gets me every time), but it's simply beautiful. The love that this man has for his wife, ensuring that even after his death she's able to move on...beautiful. And the scenes between the two of them..sigh. I absolutely abhor Hilary Swank, and I ended up actually liking her in this movie. The friendship between she, Lisa Kudrow, and Gina Gershan is awesome, and there's a deleted scene with Hilary Swank and James Marsters where he's talking about how he misses Gerry (Gerard Butler) that is just beautiful. Sigh.

i actually did just watch ps i love you and it was great! It made me love gerard butler.

there's something about swank that makes me not like her. i'm not sure what it is, but i like her movies, which is weird. it was a sweet movie and i did totally bawl at one point in the beginning when he first started sending her letters.

i actually cried more at the talk she had with her mother toward the end than i did for anything else.

and seeing james marsters with brown hair always freaks me out. i miss spike and buffy so much. ::sighs::
