I'm intrigued by your management of Newhaven's funds. I'm not sure that I could be that organized. I'd need a mayor like Castor to help me out! :D

So, do you have your game set up so that there can be only one mayor, one Minister of Education, etc. at a time?

I'm following the rules by nepheris which you can find here at buildacity. They are challenging but really fun, and do include logical restrictions like only having one mayor at a time. Some careers can have multiple people at the top, whilst others don't. I have the rules printed out next to me so I can keep track ;)

The taxes and the Mayor's funds all come together which did make it a bit tricky when a new household took over. Castor, despite being young and sometimes brash, is very honest and will probably instigate 'public records' of how much the town has paid in taxes and how it has been spent. This will also make it easier to transfer the balance if someone from another household takes up the position next ;)

Thanks for linking me to the BACC rules! :) I'm starting to become intrigued by BACCS. Usually, I come across BACCs that have been started and quickly abandoned, so I've been a bit dismissive of the BACC challenge. Recently, though, I've found your BACC and another one that's well done, so now I'm more interested in this challenge!
