Newhaven: Week Five - The Maxwell-Spencer Family

Jan 03, 2012 13:43

Coco grew into a very boisterous little girl who spoke her mind and charged head first into any situation.

Despite often being brash when meeting new people, she didn’t have any trouble making friends at school. Dion joked that the other kids were probably just too scared to say no to her.

Now that Coco was more independent, Kendal pursued her hobby of sewing. It seemed in no time she had progressed from pot holders to crafting actual clothing.

It turned out her new found free time was only going to be short lived. Clyde and Kendal had taken the approach of “if it happens, it happens” in regards to giving their daughter a sibling, and as it turned out, it happened.

The whole family was excited at the prospect of another addition, even with their light hearted teasing that Kendal must be having twins with the amount of food she was eating.

It turned out they were right, Kendal gave birth to twin daughters they named Ebony and Ivory.

Despite the attention her new baby sisters required, Coco was never forgotten. Even when she would have preferred to be.

It seemed the twins infancy flew by even faster than Coco’s and soon their youngest daughters had celebrated their first birthday.

Ebony was shyer than her twin sister, and as well as being extremely playful had a very kind and gentle temperament (2/2/5/10/10).

Ivory was just as playful, but was grouchier and more outgoing than Ebony (2/6/4/9/4).

The family already felt they had received more than their share of joy and happiness when they were left a surprise gift.

Leo, Dion and Clyde recognised the genie lamp as they had received one during their very first days in Newhaven while Kendal, who had never seen one before, was keen to try it out.

When it was time for her to make a wish, she answered peace of mind. Her birthday was approaching and she wanted to grow up happily so she would be around as long as possible to see her daughters grow up.
