Sunday, brunch at Bee Desserts (formerly/sometimes still Cafe La Palette), which had a shady back garden, very nice savory crepes, interesting honey cakes, and crepes Suzette that were not as good as they should have been.

Wait, have you had Shake Shack? When did you come to NYC?

(We have a local Five Guys and I think their burgers are slightly better, a little juicier.)

Have you ever read The Sunne in Splendour by Penman? It's an interesting revisionist take on Richard III. While I think some bits of it are overwrought, I liked how it depicted the historical period, which obviously has a lot more layers than comes through in the propaganda of the play.

It is on one of our to-be-read bookcases, and has been for years. But I will see about bumping it up--maybe I'll still be in a Richard III mood when I get home.
