Belated labor & delivery post

When I first came home, I mentioned that I was planning to do a post about how I came to have a C-section, since I knew a couple of people would be interested. So much time has passed that it seems a little silly to do it now, but I did say I would.

Condolences on the sunny-side up -- our first child was the same way, and it was definitely Not Fun for Annette. Glad to hear it all worked out well for you, and congratulations again on an adorable daughter.

Moral fortitude? Thanks, but I wouldn't have picked that term myself; I went for the drugs at the first opportunity, after all, and anyway I have had worse pain.

I'm not sure I did so well at that, either; distance is a great help in reporting things somewhat dispassionately.
