Happy Pi Day!

In honor of pi(e) day, I am making a pie for dinner. It currently smells very good in the oven. It contains apples, an onion, a lot of bacon, two kinds of cheese, and some chives, in pie. Hopefully it will be tasty, and not dry (the only liquid in it is bacon grease) or mealy (they are Red Delicious apples, which are emphatically not for cooking,

Success, or successful failure?

We can't have pie, because we have no oven. Also, because Dad didn't seem to believe in Pi Day when Kate and I mentioned it last night. (Justin called, he was at the McB's making pie with Em.)

It was a very tasty pie, although it could have used a bit more filling. I have been eating pretty much nothing but pie and chocolate.
