Let me explain. No, there is too much - let me sum up.

All is well here. I'm still happily married to Leading Man (30 years as of last October). I'm still happily employed at the same small office (10 years as of last September). I'm still thrilled to be the mother of three daughters (22, 20, and 18 - or so they say. I'm pretty confident they're actually only 15, 13, and 11). And I'm still owned by the ( Read more... )

no offense if you don't remember me

Hi. I'm so happy to read a happy post :) and that you got through all your difficulties. I find that it helps to read such a post to get through one's own struggles.

I'm fine mostly. Tired and laden (or leaden?) with anxiety but fine.

Your English continues to be far better than my French - which is an embarrassment, given my education and the fact that I have frequent contact with francophone Quebecois - mais ils sont des Canadiens; ils ne parlent pas le francais que j'ai appris.

See? Terrible!

Thank you!

As far as I know, Québécois speak French but some of their words is different. And no, your French isn't terrible. That sentence is quite perfect.

Hey!!! It is so good to have you back!!!

Kinda in the same boat, but different wrecks. Had a massive bout of clinical depression last year and am in recovery. Other than that, everyone is doing well.

I missed you!

Not sure I'm "back," but I am here. Occasionally.

I'm so sorry to hear you've had wrecks, but I'm glad you're in recovery. Frankly, I think that's what life is: recovery. I hope you are continuing to move upward and onward!

I'm thankful I get to keep up with you here and elsewhere.

Fight on, valiant FEMALE warrior; fight on. Partners be hanged...

And in case of any legal investigations, I mean "hanged" figuratively.

As far as anyone here knows.

I was thinking of you the other day! Ten years this month that we went to London with Karen. Ten years! No wonder your daughters have grown. I'm not surprised they are doing well, but it is wonderful to hear.

Good to hear about your new, sports-car hips; I remember that you had trouble. It's amazing what they can do these days. My right rotator cuff finally gave up the ghost completely. They did surgery for pain relief, but couldn't repair it. Probably a replacement in my future, but - *heehee* - I'm not old enough, yet. So, it takes both hands and a heave to get a less-than-full 5lb bag of sugar on the shelf over the stove, but it is now fairly easy to get the empty measuring cup up there with just one hand. (Move them? They belong there ( ... )

Given the amount of time between my post and my reply, I wouldn't bet on me being around a lot, but virtually anything qualifies as "more" - lol.

I was looking through our photos just a few days ago - somehow it seems both way more recent and way more distant than 10 years. I seem to remember hearing about sweet Martha, but I'm so glad you have a wonderful four legged companion back in your life. The fur babies really do worm into the heart, don't they?

I'm glad you're still traveling, practicing shot put with sugar bags, and hanging in at work. Sending you hugs, but only on your left side!

It's wonderful to hear from you and know that, despite the ups and downs you've endured, things are well with you and your family. :D

And from one peony lover to another, you should never apologize for too many flower photo posts.

I detest gardening, but love that God gave me two overly green thumbs. Peonies are just the ticket - they thrive with minimal ongoing attention.

I hope you're well!
