On the news tonight someone said they were "deeply concerned" about something. Has anyone ever been "shallowly concerned"? I was just wondering...

I love you. I'm tired, cranky and was wondering if it was worth the effort to log in and check my friends' page and there you are with a cute little thing that made me smile and laugh. You made the trip worth it. ;)

Well, I'm not sure, but it could be an effort on their part to reduce the dependence on foreign oil? No, that can't be it, because I'm sure the men in the oil producing countries probably do the same dang thing and pull the sheets over their spouse's head too! ;)

Well, I've been a bit concerned, moderately concerned, and a tad anxious, but I think the only time you could say I've been shallowly concerned was when we weren't sure if there was enough water in the rapids to get the canoe through.

Then there's "deeply concerned" and the more serious "gravely concerned", to spite the fact that a grave really isn't that deep.
