Love the fanfic, JKR, Percy Jackson, Cassandra Clare love too. Clockworl Princess reduced me to a puddle of tears. I still haven't gotten around to The Hunger Games. I've been doing a very good job of putting it off. I write mostly Draco/Ginny fanfic but I'll throw Ginny in with the Slytherins or other Slytherin-like characters (see Sirius Black) as well. I'm currently reading The Mark of Athena.

haven't gotten around to even start clockwork princess, due to bring distracted by so many other fandoms *coughPercyJacksoncough* but I been listening to the audio books of the clare books and they're quite good. (and yet, they suffer from the audio-book failing of having one narrator for male&female voices *shakes head*)
I would recommend the HG books solely for the richness of world collins build up. but they're quite depressing (didn't finished but five chapters of mockingjay, and not even sure if i'll watch the movie version). Not to mention, severely disagree with many plot-related choice of Ms. collins.
Mark of Athena on the other hand, is excellent all throughout.
I will freely admit to have been tempted into the darkside of Ginny/Slytherin boys fanfics. (even the high rated stuff!)
It's weird, I can only seem to read HP fanfiction. None of the other fandoms interest me in that way. I find Canon!Ginny so multi-dimensional that the Gryffindor boys are just too flat for her. Unless it's Cormac who has some flaws to make things interesting.
I'm not a fan of audiobooks at all. I guess I need to read the words myself to feel them.
Incidentally, I'm not that into dystopia, which is probably why I haven't read HG yet. I like my future to have unicorns and glitter instead of wastelands and struggles.
I finished Mark of Athena yesterday. I want to finish House of Hades before the new year.
As for recs, I say go onto DracoandGinny.com and browse. Anything by Jessicakmalfoy, memoriesfade, mynuet, idreamofdraco, and dragonsangel68 are always a win. There are others too, just browse. The review numbers will tell you the faves.
