I hate how people become so childish about a television. Yes I love the show, and I've had several shows where favourite characters were no longer on the show and there were new characters on it. Let the new characters be shown, everyone knows they've got to be a pretty awesome actor to get onto a show that has been around for eleven years and still # 1 in the ratings. I personally don't believe I've seen anything Emily Whickersham so I don't know what she's like, but what I've seen of the promo with her I'm intrigued. She's not replacing Cote per se as an actor can never truly be replaced but Ellie's filling the spot left by Ziva on the team. I honestly am looking forward to her first episode tonight. Don't get me wrong I miss Ziva, but in reality, I miss the possibility of Tony and Ziva. I think if Cote hadn't left the show, we wouldn't have seen them express their love for each other so in some ways I'm happy to have that piece of their personal life ( ... )

I also liked Ziva. I am not sure I would have liked them to consummate because it wouldn't be good it would be sort of the way Luke and Laura came about (she was raped and they ended up falling in love.

Yeah I don't get Gibbs "love interests" I get that he's never gotten over Shannon and his true love for her, but I also don't see him as the type who would marry several times over to find a replacement. I could see him having strings of girlfriends and none of them getting really off the ground, but not marrying ( ... )
