Why people get so caught up in this stuff, I'll never understand. It doesn't matter whether I like her or not (or the character): it's the actress's decision. Sheesh! People are crazy.

The thing about CDp and family came about from her saying that in several interviews, that when she married, she would step back from show business until she'd had children. In at least one she mentioned the possibility of moving to Chile to be close to family ( ... )

You see that's just it this is the 21st century women should be able to do both if they choose. They shouldn't have to make choices.

Yeah I saw that it had been shut down.

I knew there was a faction of Cote and Mark shippers as well as Ziva and Gibbs (which I admit I do read a lot of that fan fiction but I would not disrespect them by telling them they should leave their partners to be with each other.

Absolutely, though the role of Ziva is a very physical one. A lot of actresses work through pregnancy (didn't the lead from Bones do just that?) but with a role like Ziva, it could be a challenge. If that is the reason--we're sure not privy to any of that.

Hey I read fanfiction of all pairings...I just wouldn't ever ask the actor if he found a costar to be the sexiest thing--that's kinda creepy no matter which "real life" pairing you ship (People have asked him about PP the same way too). And some people have mentioned fanfiction to MH. It is never a smart idea to take shipping (any shipping, fictional or real) and thrust it onto an actor.

Then again, this is the fandom that thinks it is okay to call Sean Murray's SIL the most vile word you can call a woman, spew hate to MW and PP because of Cdp's decision, and people are suggesting bodily harm to a producer (Glasberg). This fandom isn't always on the sane side!
