This was so lovely and cute! I'm a huge fan of the Princess Bride references and the "cockblocking bear of DOOM!"

One thing though - "lifted his head to see that the bear was probably 20 kilometers away,"

I think you meant to say 20 metres? Because if it was 20 km away, they wouldn't have been able to see it, haha.

Great fic! Only Arthur could be indignant about Merlin saving them from deciding between jumping off a cliff or facing the cockblocking bear of DOOM (love that by the way). Besides I'd say Arthur convinced poor Merlin to come into the woods in the hopes he'd get to seduce him so really it's all his fault ;)
