I'm a bit aggravated with myself for not finishing it yet. It's an extremely easy read ( early on, anyway. I've got a feeling it gets very, very emotional later on.) Since I'm familiar with Albom's voice thanks to hubby's obsession with ESPN, I can hear him speaking throughout this story and I adore that. I'm looking forward to reading every last word of this book! (Even if it does the near impossible and makes me cry.)

I LOVE this book. I'm a fan of Albom's writing on the whole and Have A Little Faith is my favorite but this book is simply amazing. It made me think, smile, laugh and cry.

We're getting ready for the deep freeze and massive storm here as well. I hate to say this, since it's currently 16F out, but I have to go out. I'm going to pick up more candles. We learned a long time ago that if we have a power outage we can heat a room and play board/card games with candles...and it's really quite nice.
I also need to fill jugs with water in case the pipes freeze.
We have a gas stove so I don't have to worry about enough "ready to eat" food, which is nice.

Right now I think I am going to take myself to lunch at Panera. I'm going to take my Kindle, curl up with one of their decadent teas and soup and sandwich combo before hitting Target for those candles.

OH! And I have a phone meeting with a dude from the Small Business Administration about the new biz. He's going to help with the name and answer some of my other questions. :)

Oh, I forgot about water ... we don't drink the tap water, but it'd be nice to not have to use all the bottled water to wash our faces with ;) Just filled one jug!

Aye, we're getting a bit of bad weather here too. Tomorrow is the "ice storm" portion. I'm just praying for a snow day because I do NOT want to drive in it!

(It makes it easier when one's called. I don't have to call out and my supervisor won't hate me nearly as much. haha)
