i always wonder why people give remus a cat. i feel like he's more of a dog person (...pun not intended). maybe it's because cats don't like me.

um, I think I did because I'm perpetuating the stereotype of librarians having cats :D And also probably because I'm a cat person, personally (though I've only had dogs at pets). Also, from a writing perspective, cats are lower maintenance than a dog. You can stay at someone's house overnight at not worry about letting out the dog, you know? It all comes back to porn in the end, I suppose... ;D
