There have been quite a few recent additions to the Cavite household, and we've all been so busy I'm not certain we've actually all met each other. Since Yachiru is going to be joining us as well, I thought we ought to make some introductions, and perhaps get to know each other over dinner.

She does? That's wonderful! Cloud also lost his family far too young, and so it'll be good to have a real authority present to ask about these things.

They can, but it seems to be confined to cases when the government disapproves of how the parents are raising their children. So I'm trying to learn as much as I can about how these things ought to be done, in order to make certain that the government will not object to my caregiving.

The Harlequin romance series is far less helpful than its proportion of the library bookshelves would lead a person to believe. It has far too many details about the sexual acrobatics needed to initiate reproduction, usually combined with appalling judgement on the behalf of the female protagonists, and far too little attention is paid to how to deal with the consequenses of the various procreative acts indulged in at such length. But there are so many of those books that I can't help thinking someone must judge them useful reference material, or else they wouldn't have such a prominent position in the
