Socially acceptable women didn't show skin like that in England, but it might work if you're still going with the previous "HORRIBLE TEXAN" motif we'd talked about. Maybe do some research if you have time (I don't or I'd do it for you). Will the cut of the dress allow it to be open and not look really weird? I mean, if you're some noveau-rich cattleman's wife, you could work how TERRIBLY declasse it is into a character concept.
True I hadnt thought of that. I am totally HORRIBLE TEXAN'S WIFE so declasse works. Ill look into it. :P I can still easily put in a piece of fabric either way :P
