Always one foot on the ground.

The last few weeks certainly were something. A few somethings, really. It was a good vacation, and I enjoyed being home and spending time with the people I care for. There was perhaps a little more tension than I might have appreciated at times, but I guess... you win some, you lose some ( Read more... )

Look at newsnet.byu.edu and then click on the classified's section, then Help Wanted. This is the best way in my opinion to find a job in Provo. Most of the jobs I've had in college have been through this device. Plus, they usually pay WAY more than jobs on campus or fast food.

Oh, and also in my opinion, working during school actually helps a lot! I have found that the one semester I didn't work, I did the worst, and all the other semesters I've been much less of a procrastinator! And I work 25 hours a week/ usually 15 hours full-time school.

Anyways, good luck!

Hey, I'll look into those jobs! They would definitely be preferable to the low-wage on-campus jobs... The only issue is that I don't have a car, so I may not be able to get to an off-campus job.

Thanks a lot!

Don't go for a fast food job, its not you :(

I'm sure you can find something different though. Go through the college career advisor or something :o They'll hook you up.

Enjoy the next semester Jordi! And don't loose contact with me Dx

Hey I'm really happy you are excited for this semester. You seem to be in better spirits this time than you were the last.
I hope the job hunt goes well. If you do wind up in fast food, I don't think you lose. I think you needed money and found a way to solve the problem. Whatever you find just make the best of it :)

I am in better spirits. :) It's true. Though... I actually haven't started the job-hunt, yet, which is not so great. I really need to get on top of that. :X

Heard of Craigslist.com? I think you may have to google it, rather than just type it in the address bar because it links you to the Craigslist for San Francisco by default for some reason. Good luck! I think I may get a job at Harmon's soon. I suppose the bright side is I'll have monies and my legs will gain some muscle.

Yeah, I have heard of it, but the thing is, because I don't have a vehicle down here, it would be difficult to get to any off-campus job. :/

And if you get a job at Harmons, I can come frequent your store whenever I am in town. :P Arhar.
