Yesterday was not such a great time. Felt poorly all day, then went to Convocation, which... well.
( It hurts something in me to talk about the past of my city, here in the Deep South. So, of course, this post is unlocked, because I have a weird brain. )

Man. Zoe would have so little patience for various aspects of the Deep South, but I bet she'd love other facets. I could cook for her! I bet she'd like a lot of Southern food.

My English teacher once described writing as bleeding on the page -- sometimes you open an artery, sometimes a vein, sometimes it's just a scratch.

The entries of mine that hit me most are when I opened a vein.
