Man. Zoe would have so little patience for various aspects of the Deep South, but I bet she'd love other facets. I could cook for her! I bet she'd like a lot of Southern food.

My English teacher once described writing as bleeding on the page -- sometimes you open an artery, sometimes a vein, sometimes it's just a scratch.

The entries of mine that hit me most are when I opened a vein.
