No, I still have hope. What I did find interesting was Zuko's inclusion period. I think that it means that their interactions in the caves was a lot more important plot wise than some are giving it credit for.
I apologise for speaking in general about the hope of Zutarians. Most of my Avatar friends at school don't stop talking about how Zutara is dying and it's driving me up the wall. (Yeah, I actually discovered several people at my school watch Avataromigod.)
But ever since I saw the uh...Nick Magazine thing I have, just as the community seems has, been questioning the motives of the directors about CoD and the cover! In fact, I've been having thoughts about the whole Maiko-Kataang scenario their apparently "implying" and I BET it's going to end in Zutara mwahaha...but I digress.
No, it's not directed towards you or anyone in the comm. I meant the creators , writers and story artist. I think they are shutting up about the Zutara on purpose. I know a couple of my favorite writers usually just shut up and let the book speak for themselves. This is why I said, saying nothing is sometimes better than blathering about it. (like the stuff about what happens in HP that sometimes JK Rowling accidentally say, I think she should learn a little about PR control, had she just let her books speak maybe people aren't going to be as dissapointed with her books, because she'd say certain things but then people's expectations aren't met, blah blah blah
( ... )
I still have hope. (There's still a lot of us left, as you can in your comments! XDD)
I think the war is one thing that's seperating them. I mean, Zuko left to go with Azula right when he might have possibly joined the Gaang. (Possibly, I'll say once again. At least not be a total enemy. ^^)
interestingly enough, when I first saw the cover my mind went straight to the...gutter...lol...I mean it went to the Oma & Shu legend. The drill is sort of like a representation of the war that's keeping zutara apart. Almost like the mountain that divided Oma and Shu's villages. Not to mention there is also the irony that Zutara had their first real breakthrough in a cave in the Earth kingdom which is in between the Fire and Water nations. :)
Coincidence? Maybe? Or maybe *cough* foreshadowing *cough*
The song that played when Katara touched Zuko's scar was the same song that played in Katara's narration of the Oma and Shu story. I am not kidding. Compare it and you will see.
I think by reading all about how the creators work and think, this is what is going to come out of it. Zutara is the most sweetest thing that could happen. Kataang is okay and all, but he's shorter AND younger than him. I think Taang would be sweeter anyways. Katara sees Aang from more of a motherly standpoint than a lover. They made us hate Zuko in the finale for a reason. I believe that Iroh and Zuko are going to break away from Azula [Zuko will break Iroh out or he will break himself out, it will be no big deal though] and I believe that Iroh will become Aangs Firebending teacher and Zuko will be sorta joined by force. Him and Katara will fight and yell [or at least she will] for a couple of episodes and then one night............ it'll happen. They'll talk about their moms or Zuko will start crying when she's yelling at him or .....HE MAY KISS HER! WOOOO!!!!
