I've been getting little annoying bubbles in the bottom right corner of my screen saying that I need to install updates. Figuring that it wasn't anything too harmful, I relented this morning and decided to install whatever Microsoft had been bugging me about

So I guess I should just keep ignoring the prompt to install updates?

Well it could be useful, but just ignore any prompt to install ActiveX. Icky bad nasty stuff.

You keep using that word, ActiveX. I do not think it means what you think it means.

By ActiveX I mean "ActiveX control," not just all ActiveX objects in general.
