I feel like Ghandi on a whisky bender

Been having a righteously bitchy day, and I wanted to give a list of those items that have pissed me off:

t(-_-t) CCD's Financial Aid Dept: I haven't received my student loan refund yet, and we really need to pay down the balance on the credit card for all my books and supplies. I called VSAC (my lender) to discover... [drumroll]... CCD still ( Read more... )

kvetching, stress

I'm in this perverse mostly red state chock full of self-absorbed fundy Christians that think putting a Jesus fish and an American flag sticker on the backs of their Escalades will magically turn all the Mexicans into cheap gasoline.

BWAHAHAHAHHAAAAA!

1. Good call on the financial aid lending bill! I hope that works. Have you called the school president yet? And seriously, VSAC is the BEST national lender - my finaid guy at COA in Maine even said so (their state lender, Nelnet, is apparently second).

2. I have that same problem with my bank (the least credit-uniony credit union I have ever encountered). That should honestly be illegal. You post debits at 11:59 and then credits at 12:00 and tell me that's not intentional?!

3. Your description about what makes a New England boy is spot-on. Well said.

4. This was hilarious - especially the above-quoted line that jackshoegazer pointed out.

5. Have you seen Things Younger Than John McCain?

VSAC is a bunch of ass-sucking whiskey-dicks and I hope their offices burn down. And then I hope that after they rebuild them, they get infested with killer lice. And then burn down again.

Funny, I've never had anything but awesome experiences with them - along with the lowest student loan consolidation interest rate of any lender in the country. I also like that they re-invest my loan money and use it to pay down my student loans; I love getting a letter every year telling me how much less I owe them. I'm sorry your experiences have been less than pleasant!
