There appears to be something about kneeling on cold tile praying to the porcelain god at 4 in the morning that promotes creativity because the auction!fic is done and I had some absolutely gorgeous dreams last night that i hope look as beautiful and sweet on the page as they did in my head.

isn't he lovely? *pets him* have you seen any of Mr. Nigel-Murray's episodes of "Bones"? His defining characteristic is that he routinely spouts arcane and only tangentially-related facts during investigations (which sounds like exactly how my research-sessions tend to go anyway so it seemed perfect).

still needs lots of editing but I think it'll be good when it's all polished :)
