This was a much more positive overall experience than the last time and it'll make subsequent ones easier. We're thinking of doing another board game night on Friday and, farm-work allowing, may even attend a Con in March
it has been a weird winter. didn't snow once until after the new year and now we've been dumped a couple of times. on Thursday, our snowfall total was 10 inches less than our usual average for that day. now most of the region is way over its total. strange happenings...

I almost want to go for a hike in the Valley but it's so bitter cold out that I know my asthma would just kill me. Snow is beautiful but not remotely fun any more. or maybe I'm just getting old, lol

lots of unknown people in a very small (comparatively) space. this touches on a number of my phobias which I think is why my sister wants me doing it. it's the strangest, thing, though. i can totally handle strangers in a professional context but you put me in any other and i start getting twitchy *shrugs*
