a mother's day well spent

Well, half of it was well spent. First I had to work 8:30 to 6:00 which involved being the Assistant Manager's bitch and working frieght for almost 5 and a half hours without a break. And may I just say that I can't wait until the remodel is over? I am getting SOOOO sick of rebuilding mods that the Temp Crew couldn't be arsed to do right the first ( Read more... )

I can't help resenting being taken from my ACTUAL job (which is supposed to include training new people on the front end) to do someone else's job which they're still getting paid for. Every time someone is taken from their task to clean up someone else's mistakes, my quarterly bonus shrinks a little since our store's productivity takes a hit. I understand what you're saying, but giving a shit is in my nature, so... *shrugs*

thank you. seriously, they can have me sing "I'm a Little Teapot" while I'm ringing up customers and I won't object. But once you start cutting into my bottom line, I turn into a short-tempered biatch ;p
