I'm still not entirely sure whether or not I like Kate - there were certain facets of her that I liked, such as the total disinterest in Robin and pretty much everything you said - but I'm not sure if I like her overall yet. I guess I'll find out.

I just thought it was kind of adorable with the way that Much was all "I'm not leaving Robin behind!" and then at the end when he saw him, and was just so happy that he was safe. Ish.

I am quite excited to see where Guy's character is going to go - like you said, hopefully John will realise just how psychopathic he can be and utilise that fully. And Guy seems more loyal to Prince John than the Sheriff, certainly, if their argument near the beginning was anything to go by. He seemed a little put out that the Sheriff was considering helping John's enemies.

Tell you what though, the paragliding-esque moment made me have a little facepalm. Oh, show.

I'm sort of neutral on Kate at the moment. She certainly wasn't as irritating as she could have been, but neither am I really inspired by her character... She certainly didn't evoke the same instant positive reaction that Djaq did.

Much will always try to save Robin. Even though the opposite doesn't seem to apply.

I agree about Guy making a good a tool for Prince John. Whether he would actually consent to that is another story... Though he might if John offers him the opportunity for revenge.

This week paragliding. Next week: hot air balloons.

I'd have let Much flirt like that with me for hours. MOVE OVER, KATE.

Kate shops Robin for her brother... I’m counting this in her favour.

Yep, agree with that. Anyone who betrays or beats Robin gets an instant pass.

Brother gets killed anyway... bloodlessly as usual.

Blood wasn't actually invented until the late 13th century, so in this sense the show is pretty accurate.

TERRORISM IS AWESOME, KIDS.

Actually, I love the look of where this plot is going. VIVE LA REVOLUTION, DAMMIT! :D

Much wouldn't even have to try with me. Dammit I still want that episode where it turns out that Much has a group of dedicated admirers who want to fawn over him, feed him pie and possibly have his babies. In fact yes, there should be a fic called The One Where Much Gets A Harem.

This series has done a really crappy job of making Robin likeable. I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to cheer every time the hero gets his ass kicked.

Clearly it was felt that the show should be relevant to the current events. I'm now waiting for the financial crisis to hit Nottingham and Sherwood.

YES. *books flight*

I know! This show is so confuuuuuuused. All the beatings will make him a better person, though. It's for his own good. Really.

AHAHA! Crown Crunch? If that phrase doesn't appear in some form, I will feel horribly betrayed. :P

I sort of hope next season is just the pair of them making snarky comments. - I would be down with this. I'm not sure if/how Much will cope with Robin's departure/death but Allan could be an integral part of this...

I didn't mind Kate's headpiece, in fact I quite liked her hair... Though I gather most of the people hated it.

Speaking of hair... I want Guy to come back as Prince John's personal assassin or something and sport a swanky new hairstyle (I'm thinking short and sexy).

It almost is as if blood is horribly expensive, and they only pull it out when they really need it. Maybe it's just me but I get that weird sense that when there's no blood then there's an overall air of everyone is just pretending to be dead' about a scene. They don't even make people clammy and gross...surely that doesn't cost much?

It’ll be interesting to see if Prince John recognises Guy for a weapon that he is, and sets him loose...

Agreed, I do like the idea of Guy coming back as something new...and interesting.

they only pull it out when they really need it. - does this mean that we should expect a gore-fest for the season finale? (I'm thinking Carrie... Or The Shining, you know, lots of blood!)

I want Guy to come back with a new and interesting haircut. Well, maybe also some new and interesting neuroses...
