omgomgomgomg the amount of feeling I have for this cannot be contained by LJ's little comment box (although I wish the same could be said for my writing paper due tomorrow)

The Hanchul relationship is the most glossed over in the series so just mentioning it made my day but I totally did not expect (in the best way possible) such a twist

Firstly I love your comment with the macros! It just made me smile!

The Hanchul has been largely over looked in this one and they will get a small section in the next chapter, but for the most part it will remain over looked. There is however, tentative plans for a Hanchul side story that focuses solely on them.

lol Ryeowook still has a while to be turned yet. Yesung could have easily done it here, but they promised to wait until he finished High School or maybe even college. That amount of time is inconsequentially short to Yesung.

Sadly (for me the poor writer) there are tentative plans for a KiHae focused sequel... I hate my muses since that little tidbit wasn't even in the original plot line. Apparently they forgot to consult my notes before we wrote this chapter.

Don't die! (Good luck on your exam!) The plan right now is to have the chapter up in one week (Sunday) so that my betas who are super busy can have time to catch all of my silly mistakes. ^^;

The battle is over! ^^

“Why would you save him, Fae?”

making deals with a fae? with Sungmin no less??
Oh Ryeowook I hope Kibum and Yesung doesn't kill you (not literally but still~) and for Donghae's sake, I hope it was the right decision... >

*sigh of relief* The battle is over and look I didn't kill anyone! Except the bad guy...

You would think they would learn that is a bad idea... Sungmin is shifty on his best days...

lol yeah poor Ryeowook...

Who did Heechul kill instead of Hangeng? The shield??

And what is Sungmin? I mean really? He's...an odd creature...Never heard of his kind before this story...

But anyway. Yeah, I enjoyed this very very much!^^

Heechul fed all of the magic of the shield (which was a very significant amount) into the spell so that it would accept that as part of the price and not drain Hankyung's life. It only worked because the shield was elemental in nature and had a bit of a life of it's own.

Sungmin is a Fae (fairy), a member of the fair folk. Fairy info here. They exist in a lot of myths and legends all over the world. The Fae in my particular story are very strongly based upon the ideas of some of the things I have read about. Here are the highlights of what the Fae are in my universe ( ... )

SO GREAT. Just great. I loved this chapter. It did the battle justice. And I hadn't realized that Taemin could amplify every vampire's powers. Though I did expect there to be a larger reason that Taemin had to stay away.

Hangeng and Heechul. Ah. They are bound now, right? In order for Hangeng to have eternal life? That is sort of sweet. I love Hangeng's annoyance when he realizes he isn't going to die. I also like the process of Unmaking as opposed to death. It does serve a larger punishment.

I'm very wary of Sungmin. This seems like a trick of some sort. Perhaps the catch is that Donghae won't want to be a vampire, especially since he's so afraid of them? Aish, I hope Ryeowook doesn't regret it.

This chapter was an excellent battle chapter. Very fulfilling :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm very excited to hear it!

Yes Taemin amplifies everyone. A vampire that is touching him gets more than average (which is why Heechul is always touching him at functions) but everyone gets the benefit from being near him.

They are bound, much to Hangeng's horror. It would be sweet, but it isn't the first time Hangeng has been bound. The last vampire kept him as a slave and tried to bend his magic to his will making Hangeng hate everything that the bond could be.

Death seemed to easy for Seungri after what he did to Kibum...

lol Being wary of Sungmin is very good... he is a Fae after all. Fae should never be trusted....

I'm so glad to hear that! ^_^
