I feel completely torn in my reaction to the recent release of Daniel Radcliffe's nude promo shots for his stage role in Equus. I can see that he is fighting to break out of his Harry Potter image. I was even entertained by his boy scout portrayal of his self-mockery in Extras recently. But I'm just not sure that taking on a role that calls for

I, myself, think this is a great thing for him. Equus is a wonderful screenplay. And whoever was chosen for the part that Dan has, was very lucky, indeed.
And the fact that he chose this, was what he wanted, and he obviously has much faith in this play and his role.
I am pretty happy for him and as great an actor as he, I know he just has to get good reviews.
I wish I could see it, and not for the nudity, but he started out on stage, he might as well, branch out as an adult back on stage! And doing what her wants.
