Apparently the first preseason college football polls are out already.

They haven't even had the NFL draft yet!

Oh, and Ohio State is number 1.

Move along, citizen. No other news worth seeing here...

non-news, college football, sports

You don't think that last season was a fluke to save JoPa's butt? ;)

Er...No!

JoPa forever!

(In reality: they'll go 9-3 or 8-4 this year. Too many losses and too many holes to fill)

If they play defense like they did last year they might win the Big Ten, but #1??? C'mon...

Just beat Michigan and Iowa and I will be happy...

cheers.

They've not lost any of the major offensive weapons outside of Holmes, plus they recruited one of the best classes of the year. And the defense looked awesome in the Spring Game. USC may be the only one that can compete.

"USC may be the only one that can compete"

Now that's the Buckeye confidence I remember! *laughs* Don't worry it really is jealousy- they (OSU) were too good last year. Especially at the *ahem*...end.

But alas, no matter what Texas did in the Rose Bowl, I want the actual USC scalp sometime in late November, IN Los Angeles. But I say that every year....

I think they'll miss Hawk in the middle, but OSU will still compete tough. Be ware those pesky Hawkeyes and UM is always good when they are supposed to be catching their breath. Stupid Wolves.

cheers.

Well, "Little Animal" Laurenaitis (or however you spell it) looked damned good in the Spring Game, so the pundits are a lot more optimistic about the graduating linebackers (Hawk was outside, by the way; Schlagel was the middle and Carpenter on the other side), since all three new guys looked good.
