I think the whole coaching staff can disappear, along with Mclean. The players may change, but these guys have been constant. It can't get worse than this can it?

I have no clue. But fucking Denis was doing his best impression of Swiss cheese in the second period. I was about to get physically violet with the TV remote. Especially when I would change to the OSU-ISU basketball game and see that the Buckeyes were trying their best to blow that.

Good god, Denis looked like a 4' tall mites goalie in that net. Thank goodness for Vyborny getting the penalty shot. They managed to salvage something resembling dignity at the end.

I am just so disgusted with Denis, and the management's blind frickin' loyalty to him. He needs to go back to Syracuse or something. Like I said, I don't think there's a team that would be willing to part with the bag of pucks and two rolls of stick tape.

Denis would be gone, if LeClaire could stay healthy for more than a week. Why didn't Gallant pull him after the fourth of fifth goal he allowed?

Well, simply stated, the fourth goal was the one that glanced off Luke's leg. That was a forgivable fluke. But the fifth and sixth goals he should have broken up the passes through the crease rather than dropping to his knees like a $5 whore.

It would have been against logic to pull Denis after the one that deflected off of Luke (you know...don't want to damage his confidence), but 5 and 6 were just unexcusable. The passes are coming through the crease, and there's a guy moving towards the off post. You don't let that pass get completed.

I just want to know what Denis smoked at the first intermission that he couldn't cleanly handle Tootoo's red-liner.

And if Tootoo isn't one of the dirtiest mother fuckers in the league, I don't know who is. He seems ready to succeed Domi as the dirtiest sucker out there.

Just in case we weren't in enough sporting opposition, I am a childhood ISU fan. (my home state, although I grew up in Hawkeye country) Especially basketball. My grandparents lived right by that campus, and I spent many a winter night screaming in Hilton Colliseum. I only saw the end, but it looks like it was the fair result....
