Sometimes, when I do not get enough sleep, all is wrong with the world. The traffic sucks a little bit more, my students are more annoying, my kids want to talk to me too much, and life, in general, seems pointless. Oh, how funny. I didn't see it coming, really. I just figured he looked at/talked to everybody with that intensity.

But...don't you think he must have read the label? I mean, it's pretty obvious we're a couple, right? That part of things is a mystery to me.

PS. I think San Jose and Santa Cruz should snuggle in bed together more often. It was so cozy and comforting and exciting. Kind of like hot cocoa with hella, hella marshmallows.

I think I can surmise that this mysterious flirtatious poet was Mr. S? In any case that was one of the best times I've ever had at a slam, better than the Berkley finals, better than Ill List. Your poems were sensational, better than Kafka by miles, thanks for the cigarettes Kat!

when I finally saw the boob trick, my heart swelled like a pumpkin. then it glowed. then I realized it was just your boob. Did I just imply that my heart is in your boob? Perhaps.
