I am glad to see this update of your year and life! And I'm glad it's been mostly good, all told, barring politics which is just a constant morass of rage and despair. I;n glad you and the boy are still going strong! I hope 2018 is even better, and that you do get that all-inclusive resort time.

Xianxia novels I recommend? Well, it's definitely Mo Dao Zu Shi, translated as Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation by the translating group (Exiled Rebel Scans, I think). A previous group translated the title to Founder of Diabolism... And that's the more common name in the English speaking fandom, alas. Exiled Rebels are also scanlating the manhua adaptation, so be sure to check it out (you have to create an schooling on their site to see the DLs, but it's worth the lurking lol)
