Welp! Tomorrow I start my first day of my senior year! I hear it's easier than junior year(and I sure hope it is!)

And to ask a similar question I asked last year, what were your senior years like?

Meeeeeeh....I feel like writing more but I just feel tired and slightly depressed that my summer is ending D:

Senior year is kind of the year you that never really prepares you for college because you wind up having senioritis .. and as a result, at some point - just stop giving a damn.
Senior year is SUPPOSE to get you ready for college, buuut it doesn't. X) SO just enjoy your last year of really getting to be a kid. :) You'll have fun!

I got seriously bad senioritis in the classes I wasn't interested in. I still gave art, choir and drama 100% of my effort though!
Just be warned, it'll go by in a flash. I finally got some school spirit my senior year and it was a blast! So just milk your senior year for what it's worth... you only go through it once! (let's hope)

PS- I didn't forget your art request! It just got put on the back burner for a while, I'm sorry! *isn't forgetting*

I was a really up and down year for me.

It's nice being on the top of the pecking order. Extracurriculars are all kinds of fun (whether it's sports or theater or newspaper or whatevs)... even if you are a leader in the group, you are still someone that people look up to.

I also developed an odd case of school spirit. This was a bit odd for me (never having been much of a Rah-Rah person, myself), but it was a lot of fun.

As for the downs... College apps were a pain in the butt (if you are interested in college, get the apps done EARLY!) and WAITING to hear what happens was even worse (I'm very impatient).

At times it seemed like senior year was whizzing by and then everything would come to a grinding halt and move slower than molasses.

But.. enjoy it. There's a lot to enjoy.

I started senior year two days ago, and I can already tell it's going to be much better than junior year. And I'm doing an independent study in art! :D

Today was the 3rd day of my senior year, and I still don't know what I think about it. It's a new school, so I feel like a freshman, but at the same time, kind of like "HA CHA CHAAAAA" because everyone asks me for directions to classes, and then I go "Uhh I dunno; I'm a new student," and then there's an uncomfortable touch of lame in the air. BUT IT'S STILL AWESOME.
Also, at this new school, there are guys with 80's hair metal hairstyles. HO DANG.
