yep, in vino veritas XD and real friends speak the truth
saul talking about ellen after NC is really touching, the fact he recognises laura's love as great as ellen's is ♥
and bill IS a hero! XD

Oooooh! Love this scene. I think that you should get bonus points for writing bromance AND romance! :D

Brilliant use of the prompt! :)

Bill grunted. “I’m no frakkin’ hero.”
Tigh drained his glass. “Me neither.”

And just like that, a breach is mended. :-D

Is there any balm quite like knocking back a few cold ones and commiserating about the sorry state of your (literal) affairs? Heh!

(And I think they're both Big Damn Heroes, you know.)

Glad to help with the suggestion.:) So much in so few words is the power of the drabble. I had to read it twice before the emotion of the final lines really hit me. A wonderful scene between two friends who really loved the women in their lives. Wonderful moment and emotion in these 100 words. Beautiful drabble!!

Very nice. I have such a weakness for this particular story moment, Saul coming clean with Bill and the aftermath (obviously since I did one for this challenge RE: this moment as well. :) Great minds, right!).

I like that you have taken them right back to drinking buddies, hatin' on themselves and uplifting each other through the love of their women. Nice!

Thank you for sharing this.
