I love this! ...Yes, I'm reading, just not so much with the commenting. Anyway, few words, big impact. Love that it's from Cottle's POV too, the truth under the gruffness. My favorite line is "Speaks to you in a voice I’ve never heard before." Great detail.

*squish hug* knowing that you're reading. Means a lot to me. xo

I love Cottle. And underneath it all, he's really a softie. And the friendship trinity is strong--deep--real.

Yes, the voice detail. I'm happy it's something my readers are noticing.

Adama had a great voice.

Yes, Jack is one smart guy.

Bill's voice is soooo ♥

DAMMIT! THIS DRABBLE COULD HAVE WORKED FOR CHALLENGE #31.

You won't read my haikus. Even when there is no killing.

Cottle love!

I know it.

You know it.

He knows it.

I love the repetition in this part particularly.

And I wonder if he will ever forgive me when you’re gone.

Fabulous last line. It's a legitimate concern, as much as we might wish it weren't.

Once again, Cottle love!

Lovely drabble.

Cottle's the man! ♥

I believe that Cottle was attached to Roslin in a very powerful way. Different from Adama, but just as powerful & meaningful.

P.S. I love your icon.

Thanks! I snagged it from cylonish, as I have not yet attempted the art of icon making.
