I get the sense from the various interviews that Jensen was reluctant to do that. I imagine Jared would have gone for it (full tilt!), but the writers felt that wouldn't fit? But yeah. They should have at least had Dean put the shoes ON.

I can totally see Jensen not going for it:( Could have been one of those humorous, absurd but OMG he might die moments, though.
