Excellent scene from tonight: We're at the table devouring the most delicious meal of my own concoction - homemade guacamole with angel-pressed lime juice, red bell peppers, and flame-grilled tequilia-lime chicken burgers and napolitos (prickly pear cactus). Angus finishes off his Estancia Farm Apple Cider and goes to the fridge to refill on

It was!! I was really impressed by her instincts. She's been making up "new taste sensations" with salads and stuff ever since they saw Ratatoille but I think this is the first time she was requesting ingredients rather than absently combining what was on her plate.

And both of them ATE CACTUS. How cool is that? I love that they did that without batting an eye. The more bizarre a few seems, the more excited my little weirdos seem to be about trying it. :)

"angel-pressed" lime juice. Well no WONDER it was heavenly and divine! If angels pressed your lime juice it had no choice!

I hate juicing limes and lemons. If my little angels will do it for me, and gleefully, you can bet I'm going to start calling it "angel-pressed". ;)
