Perhaps in the warehouses... is this regarding Sakura-san?

Do not overestimate yourself. The objective is rescuing Sakura-san safely. That means such recklessness is entirely unneeded.

Yes. HER safety. My own is of little consequence.

Don't be foolish. If you are killed in the process, what good will that do Sakura-san? If you in your haste to search the city alone overlook her - I doubt she's sitting out in the open - what good will that do her? This recklessness will only hurt her, and you.

The thing about that...is that I cannot be killed.

Everyone can be killed.

Not the Immortal. The bearers of the 27 True Runes.

...

Even if that is true, my other point also stands. If you in your haste overlook her or some other clue, what good will that do?

It won't happen.

And you're so confident that you are unwilling to entertain the possibility that you are wrong?

You may not believe it...but these these sort of tests of my strength, stamina, will, spirit, and mind have all come before in such great odds that many young men like myself would have been crushed beneath them like insects.

It is because of this that I must have absolute confidence in my ability. I cannot afford to think on failure...because failure is not an option.

No, failure is not an option. Which is why this sort of blind recklessness is to be avoided. You cannot do everything on your own.

...Very well. I'll take the boy and nothing more.

Once again, you are missing the point. Two people are hardly better than one in this matter. Whatever grudge do you have against being prepared and working in a group needs to be cast aside.

It's not....it's not that simple.

Then what is it?
