 Finally finally lifting my head again, after a couple of months of a very intense Wiki project. Five hundred entries to be edited or rewritten in a couple of months. I swear -- ask me anything about wine kits and I can probably answer.

But anyway. There are other things on the horizon, I've got flowers on my balcony after last weekend's plantings,

I'm thinking that the new computer will be faster than the old (and you won't be spending time rebooting), so you'll be able to get more work done in less time and have more time for fun.

In theory, anyway.

That's exactly the theory. I've had times when I growled, "If this wasn't hanging, I could get it done so much more quickly!" But of course, this won't change anything if the other site's database just works slowly. But it's bound to make a considerable difference, whatever the case.

Plus, having a new computer instead of a computer you expect to die at any moment will certainly have a beneficial effect on your blood pressure.
