I hate people who label off dog breeds as "aggressive". Pit Bulls are "aggressive" because they are trained to be. It's not like every Asian is smart or every Black like PURPLE DRANK. :\

Yeah unfortunately dog breed restrictions are pretty much across the board in apartment complexes :\ Most of the ones in DC just go with the "no dogs over 35 lbs" rule which would get rid of most of the "aggressive" breeds, but many counties/districts around here ban the mere existence of pit bulls in their area. Needless to say, if you look at the DC Humane Society website all their dogs are pit bull mixes with the remainder having one of those other breeds in their blood, mainly rottweiler or pinscher.

I guess I'm a little more forgiving when they're weight restrictions because it's more about size than THESE DOGS MIGHT BE AGGRESSIVE. idk, it just makes me sad. Especially because pits and pit mixes are so goddamn sweet. ;_;
