Awwww that's so sweet! Gentle Ben is killing me with his adorable just from the picture. ;3; Herding dogs = the best dogs! I stalk Petfinder all the time as well because I'm trying to talk my dad into letting us get a dog or two. (I already have two dogs at my mom's house, but...y'know, the more dogs the merrier!)

I'm sure you'll get an awesome rescued dog at some point--hang in there! Dogs are the best things ever. ♥ ♥ ♥ I have a seventy-pound one sleeping a few feet away right now, ahaha.

I tried to show Mom pictures of Gentle Ben and the other dog that was up for adoption and she like, refused to look at them. *_* I give up. Cuddle your pups for me!

I REALLY WANT YOU TO GET A RAT. I wonder if there's anywhere up in Northampton/Amherst where you could buy or adopt one?

I WANT TO AS WELL. I've been stalking craigslist, petfinder, etc. because I really want to adopt. I think I'll get two because they're usually better off in pairs. I just sent an email to someone on craigslist getting rid of her two female rats so we'll see how that goes. :D

Also I just found one of the most unfortunate looking mix of breeds on petfinder (I just typed petfinger...). Rat terrier and pug D:...

Uhg and I can't look at most of these ads... they make me really upset/sad. Even dogs in pet stores make me really sad.

That's how my mom is.. she can't handle pet stores or shelters or anything. Meanwhile I'm like "IF IT MAKES YOU SAD, THEN WHY AREN'T WE GIVING A NEEDY DOG A GOOD HOME." Argh.

Nahhh, don't be sorry, I'm really glad he got a good home! I know my parents aren't ready yet, but god knows when they will be. The way it's looking, I might be able to get my own place and adopt a dog before they get around to it. :|
